What an exciting weekend at our house! Aside from the amazing arts conference (more on this later, still debriefing and debuzzing in this regard), on Sunday we made our official CSA sign up at the MACSAC open house. We've been avid Farmer's Market-ers since our move to the dear little city of Madison, but we're taking it a step further this summer, and we're now proud members of the charming Two Onion Farm. We can't wait to get our delicious share of organic, locally grown veggies each week...and we're hoping that the convenience will help us out in our first summer with a newborn, meanwhile encouraging us to keep experimenting by cooking with vegetables beyond the standard fare. CSAs are amazing and I'm pretty much smitten by this whole idea and process. Go local, you won't go back. (And hurry to it, many shares will be sold out in the coming weeks!).
