Inpspired by my sister's "Bundt Cake Saturday" series (see Raw Rach), I present to you my first attempt at my own bundt creation. After searching high and low in San Francisco and settling for an ebay purchase, I am now the proud owner of a Cathedral Bundt Pan. You read right, a bundt cake shaped like a church. Holy Moses.
Today I tried out Rach's recipe for pumpkin spice cake with cream cheese frosting, and mmm it was tasty (although, a bit tricky to frost the cake while maintaining the integrity of the cathedral design). I took it over to church tonight and the volunteers gobbled it up during the evening services. How apropos.
