Adah is up to so many tricks these days - army crawling, waving (love this), a bit of baby sign and now pulling up! She got some practice on a step-stool in the kitchen this a.m.
A shot out our back door - check out those drifts! The lucky prius was (and is still) tucked safely in the garage...
Our snow day breakfast - oatmeal/blueberry waffles made in the Tom Osborne Mickey Mouse waffle maker (our wedding gift from T.O. - if you haven't heard the story or enjoyed the waffles yourself!)
We got all bundled up and Adah ate her first snow...I think she liked it.
Paul and our neighbor hard at work on the driveway. We had help shoveling and another neighbor brought over their saweeet snowblower to dig us out of our long driveway. Adah and I watched the snowblower from inside - it totally rocked her socks off. So much for being impressed with the vacuum...
It's been a good day. The lowlight was an email from my mother about a family friend, just older than me, recently diagnosed with a large brain tumor. I f'in hate cancer more than anything in the world, in case I haven't mentioned it before. My ever eloquent sissy wrote a blog referring to this same bit of news, and she, as always, has a way to put it all in perspective. Check her out here. And stay warm. It's a wild, snowy world out there.

Adah is absolutely adorable in that snow suit.
She's pulling herself up already? What a big kid!
