So far we don't miss the television at all! We are loving not having it and in a certain way it's almost freeing - the temptation isn't there so we are spending our time in other ways. I'll take it. In fact, I rather like it.
And thanks to some amazing display blowout clearances at Menards, we started the appliance replacement project this week. Paul put up the microwave like a champ last night, and I used it for the first time just a few hours ago. I haven't been so excited to use a microwave in a long time. Here's a picture of our kitchen update:
And here's Miss A emptying the pantry while I cleaned up the kitchen earlier tonight...I kept trying to get her to look at me for a picture but she was so enthralled with her new "toys" that she'd only look for a second and then return gleefully to the pantry. Uh oh, I can feel my anxiety creeping in...no messing with mama's pantry organization, my love!
To kitchens. For the food they put in our bellies and the entertainment they provide. We're grateful.
