Happy Bambinos Indeed

In what feels like a recent string of fairly somber and pensive posts, here's a little mood lifter...

For the past month, I've been spending my Friday mornings hanging with the parents and babies at Happy Bambino here in Madison. This place just about takes the cake - after Disney World, of course, it's pretty much the happiest place on earth. Aside from all kinds of earth-friendly and eco-chic baby and toddler gear, HB offers an impressive array of groups and classes for the little people. You can find me there doing yoga (aka running around like a chicken with my head cut off and praying that for one sweet moment we all hit a downward dog at the same time) with a rousing group of two year olds or teaching a room filled with sweet, eager, delightful mamas and babes about attachment using movement. It's a grand old time. To join in the fun with the next session of classes, check out the upcoming spring session schedule here.

And because we love it so much, Paul and I made our membership for the next year official last week too. So you'll find us there often in the coming few months learning all about the basics of cloth-diapering (woohoo it's gonna be a fun ride), baby-wearing and making our own baby food (latest tip - puree a banana and avocado for a delicious baby food treat). Ooooh, I just adore this sweet little hippie city! Makes one feel all warm and fuzzy inside just to think about it.
