Lists.

Well, if you know me at all, you know that I love making lists. Some people (eh, husband) might even say that my list-making is a bit of compulsion. I beg to differ - it is totally healthy and not in any way a sign of neuroticism.

Everyone has to admit, there are times when a list is just simple goodness. And with Thanksgiving nearing, I am listing all of those things I am grateful for in neat little spreadsheets in my mind. But now I'm going to put some in writing here, and I urge you to do the same. It is the time of year to share thanks, after all.

In 2007 I am thankful for...

1. a job...and one that I love, to boot
2. a husband who loves me and puts up with my shenanigans
3. RAM, RCK and MJF - aka the best siblings in the whole wide world
4. the chance to dance on a regular basis
5. health
6. hair that is finally long enough to cut and donate
7. no more Chicago commutes
8. finishing my thesis!
9. girlfriends
10. the prairie
11. family...the whole mixed bag of them
12. people who challenge me to question myself and my assumptions
13. small children
14. hybrid cars
15. memories

So that's a start to my list. Start your own today. You won't be sorry - list making is more fun than a barrel of monkeys. Guaranteed.

Happy Thanksgiving! Count your blessings this week and always...

Oh, that is SO MUCH your dad talking there.

Thankful you're thankful - and I'll be making my list tonight!

i would say you only need to be concerned about compulsiveness when you make your patients stop all things on even numbers....becuase odd and prime numbers are wrong. Oh, and when you get angry because people eat apples for breakfast.

ha :o)
