First things first: if you haven't yet browsed my sister's blog, you should take a look today. She is a darn good poster and I especially enjoyed the poignant thoughts today. See "my dear sis" link to the left.
In other fun and excitement, today I subbed for the NYC Ballet Workout class at the gym where I work. There is something very huggable about middle aged women who have decided to take up ballet. Somehow they are not tainted by the battering of mind and body that I so often associate with my ballet days of old. The act of attempting the movement itself makes them feel and be strong, graceful and sexy. It is a beautiful thing.
And my calves ache. That delicious, I just worked really hard in a dance class and my muscles are screaming at me feeling. Mmmmm. I can't wait to get out of school and back in the studio.
I'll curtsy to that.

thanks for the shout-out, sissy. i was worried that was too angry of a post...but it all tumbled out and i just hit "post" and figured, what the hey, why not.
love that ache, too. isn't it the greatest? the feeling lived-in.
on another note, i saw a total crap movie the other night that you should definitely avoid if you ever come across it. "must love dogs." tragic.
Mariah! Hey! Jeremy Fuerst here, just dropping in to say "hi." I popped in on your sis' blog and then noticed a link to you through one of the comments. Cheers! Drop me a line sometime soon, update me on life!
