Big Girl Good Friday

We had a lovely Good Friday here in Madison. The girl got her first "real" haircut. Just before her baptism, when she was about 5 months old, I trimmed off her "rat tail" and then and there vowed to never cut her hair again - my work was jagged and horrible! So since then I haven't touched her locks, and today she got a little layer and trim. She did so well! Following her nap we enjoyed a date with her favorite little buddy at the Children's Museum, which was quite fun. A good way to kick off the Easter weekend. And tomorrow morning - a first egg hunt! So excited! Some picture evidence of our day follows...
The first cut...

Getting layers like a big girl. She didn't move an inch the whole haircut!

Giving R the evil eye a bit...he had just previously given her cheek a nice squeeze.

Driving the car like the cool girl that she is.

This somewhat freaky dog is one of A's fav.or.ite things at the museum. Whatever floats your boat, darling...
