Wow. Well over a month since I have posted! October was full full full, with much excitement and new adventures and very little time to think about blogs. Here's a snapshot of a few of our favorite fall October moments...
| A picking apples, or helping to eat them while mama picked. She was a tiny human ball of sheer joy when we arrived at the orchard and there were apple "balls" everywhere! |
| We celebrated our fifth wedding anniversary (!) with a family weekend getaway to Door County, a most beautiful Wisconsin spot. Here we were enjoying the beautiful weather and lovely sights at Peninsula State Park! |

| After getting back from Door County, we prepped for a girls trip to the Twin Cities to attend the annual dance therapy conference; we fit in a bonus visit with my dear dear friend Rebekah and her little girl before the conference started - true bliss! |
| And then the dancers and dance therapists convened and the fun commenced! Site specific dances in the Crystal Court and all... |
| I seriously loved getting to reconnect with so many friends and colleagues, especially classmates from my grad school cohort |
| And while I was conferencing, A spent time with my dear godparents and their whole fam; she was beyond spoiled and had a ball (in spite of her inability to smile for this photo!) |
| Before leaving there was of course a wee bit of time to see my beloved Minnesota dancers (and babies!) |
| Somewhere in there we (and by we I really mean Paul...) also wrapped up a few little house projects; here's a before and after of our guest room headboard from St. Vinnie's |
| Our cozy guestroom with finished headboard...don't you want to come visit? |
| Speaking of visitors, little bro was here for a week to finish off the month as part of his mega road trip. So fun! |
| And of course who could forget Halloween? Here we are prepping for the neighborhood Halloween parade. Moments after this A snapped her chin with the elastic from her hat. Oops. She recovered quickly. |
| Uncle Matt & Aunt Amber were here for a visit and even got in on the neighborhood parade fun! |
| And Halloween night with some of our dear friends...thankfully A's amazing hot dog costume had a good reason to be pulled out for another year! |
| Our little good witch was an expert trick or treater. She did not want to stop and walked nearly the whole block, foiling our "4-5 houses" plan. |
So, October. There she went. After a wonderful but at times overwhelmingly full month, we are now resting in a recuperative state for at least a bit, looking forward to Thanksgiving and long weekends and time to catch our breath a bit. So grateful for the richness this fall has brought already.
