Blogging?

There hasn't been much of it lately. We're a tad bit caught up with life right now. Primarily, we're finding ourselves...

Growing a Child

And reclaiming a house (that, cross your fingers, we'll be able to at least live in within a matter of weeks now)

I'm also having a bit of a blogging quandary that I could use some advice on. I'm trying to decide what to do about the blog now that Miss Adah has entered the picture. I suppose the original title and idea of the blog remain relevant, as the girl literally grows into the person she is becoming daily, but here are my issues/questions...

1. I'd love to make a blog where friends and family can stay updated on the life and growth and progress of the little lady, especially since all of our family members live in different states/countries. And I'm sure I'd have no problem filling a blog with the brilliant things this love does daily, because I will assure you, there are many. That said, I'm not sure how I feel about posting all of this info in totally public domain, which has made me think, private/password protected blog? What are the thoughts on this? Have people gone this route and liked it?

2. I question whether or not to start an entirely new kid blog or just lump everything together into this blog. On one hand, it seems a bit too (much too) labor intensive to me to maintain two different blogs when I can't even manage to stay up to date with one. On the other hand, I don't want to turn into that lady with a kid who only talks about or thinks about subject matter relating to her child, which makes me think maybe keeping things separate is a good idea. Also would save me the trouble of mentally editing everything with a primarily familial audience in mind...

So I do realize the narcissism here, and that no one out there other than me probably gives much of a hoot whether any blog exists, let alone one or two, but I would welcome feedback from my two or three readers out there...what's a girl to do?

And on that note, I'm out. I have a hungry girl and a plethora of paint samples to ponder. Oh, and did I mention that I haven't packed a thing yet? Don't expect to see me until the latter end of summer, my friends!
